One night a group of old wildland firefighters were sitting around….telling stories…sharing beverages as they do; and thought wouldn’t it be a great idea to go on a road trip with a few pals to visit some old fires. They would walk the ground, discuss what happened, and honor those lost.  And in the process perhaps inspire younger firefighters to learn about our rich and varied history.
