Description

A dignified and solemn tribute to smokejumping, this medallion made from a bronze alloy features the arched SMOKEJUMPERS with the “flying Christmas tree” logo, with “KEEPERS OF THE FLAME” across the bottom to provide a tribute that will last the test of time. Measures 3 inches high by 5 inches long with a profile of 0.25 inches. Can be attached to a grave marker using high-quality epoxy, or encased in concrete as a memorial that will last multiple lifetimes. Also makes a great gift or a presentation to a family or friends in memory of a smokejumper. Medallion design is similar to that of the Mann Gulch memorial medallions, remembering the 12 jumpers and one former jumper who lost their lives in a fast-moving wildfire in 1949.
