William Shelby “Bill” Laney (Grangeville 1963)

Bill died December 18, 2013. He was born May 24,1935, in Springfield, Arizona. Bill graduated from Cliff H.S. in Cliff, New Mexico, in 1953. He attended the University of Houston 1953-55 and spent two years in the Army in Korea. He worked for the USFS 1960-62 on the Gila NF before jumping at Missoula in 1963 and Grangeville in 1964. Bill worked for the Pacific Western Land Company and was living in Las Cruces, N.M.
