Clifford R. Johnson (Missoula 1970)

Cliff, 26, died August 4, 1971, when he drowned in the Bitterroot River south of Missoula. He was born September 27, 1944, in Murphysboro, Illinois. Cliff was swimming with friends when he disappeared about half way across the river. He had been a student at the University of Montana for two years and jumped at Missoula during the 1971-72 seasons.
