Dick,86, died December 14, 2017, in Walla Walla, Washington. He was born on the Gregory Brothers' farm in West Cove, Idaho, located between Palouse and Potlatch, on March 22, 1931.

He graduated from the University of Idaho in 1954 with a business degree. Dick's career included time as an auditor for the IRS and the State of Idaho, as a real estate broker and time working as security and a shuttle driver in Jackpot, Nevada. He jumped at Cave Junction during the 1951 season.
