Bruce, 50, died Thursday, July 16, 1998, in rural Minidoka County of southern Idaho, northwest of Paul while crop dusting. His aircraft collided with that of Mike Hoard of Burley, Idaho, at 8:15 a.m. over a potato field. He was born February 19, 1948, In Missoula, Montana. Bruce served with the U.S. army in Vietnam. He jumped at Missoula 1968, 71-73.
