Robert, 75, died July 8, 2009, in Butte, Montana. He was born September 7, 1933, in Williston, North Dakota. He earned a master’s from Western Montana College and taught high school English 1966-93. He jumped at Missoula 1953-54, 64, 65, and at West Yellowstone 1962-63.

Robert became a Naval Aviator in 1958. During the summers 1968-83 he taught Aviation Education college workshops at West Montana College, Montana Tech, and Carroll College.
