Memory Bracelets on Sale

After the unfortunate death of Redding smokejumper, Luke Sheehy, Sue Gethen, who works at the Redding Coordination Center, decided to start making bracelets to Always Remember Luke and all of those firefighters who have given their lives in the line of duty.
These bracelets are made of parachute cord in multiple colors which appear "fire like" with the purple ribbon as the center piece. Plastic buckles connect the bracelet around the wrist. These are waaaay cool and I personally have purchased several.
The price is by donation with the "average" donation between $7 and $10 per bracelet. ALL of the proceeds goes directly to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation, based in Boise. They come in different sizes, so when ordering make sure you have measured your wrist. Please contact Sue Gethen at her email address: sgethen@aol.com.
Sue has been able to send several thousands of dollars to the association, so please order one/some and remember those who have gone before us.
