Crews battling to protect Taos Pueblo and the tribe's watershed from a fire that has burned 3,000 acres near the ancient Indian village expect no help from the weather today.
"The fire moved in three directions Sunday, due to downdrafts from thunderstorm cells," said Bill Duemling, another fire information officer. "We're expecting the same kind of erratic behavior today."
