Dwight Chambers Seriously Injured

by Chuck Sheley |

Dwight Chambers (MSO-66) struck a tree while on ski patrol at Great Divide (MT) on Sunday, March 9, 2013. He was initially taken to Helena and later airlifted to Great Falls for treatment.

After evaluation it was determined that Dwight, among other injuries, has a significant fracture in his neck below the C7 level. He underwent surgery to fuse his spine and will be in treatment for several months.

There will be significant challenges for Dwight and his family as the spinal cord injury will leave him paralyzed below the chest.

A CaringBridge site has been created for Dwight. You can use this site to write messages of encouragement and show your support.
