Wes Brown (CJ-66) passed along the sad news that long time smokejumper pilot Hal Ewing passed away March 8, 2010.

Information on a memorial service will be coming down the line. Hal, in good smokejumper tradition, wanted a pizza party for a memorial. Could be held at the Gobi. Stay tuned.
