Pat Wilson Retirement & National Award

by Doug Houston |

Pat Wilson, MSO 80, has just received an award from the Parachute Industry Association as the Association Member of The Year 2006. The award compliments Pat on his outstanding contributions in technical, safety and promotional parachute projects.

Pat recently retired from the USFS in January 07. At the time he was the USFS Smokejumper Projects Leader at the Missoula Technology & Development Center. Pat had been a base manager at Grangeville, jumping there from 1982 until 1997, then accepting the position in Missoula.

His vacancy at MTDC was filled by John Kovalicky, who was the paraloft supervisor for Missoula. So, many congratulations to Pat and to John.
