Crews fighting Davis Fire report near collision with those violating closure orders

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Fire crews with the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest fighting the Davis Fire are reporting close calls with people violating closure orders.

They say people riding mountain bikes on bulldozer lines where crews are continuing to work are violating closure orders and causing these issues.

They cited at least one near miss on Sunday between a bulldozer and a mountain biker.

People are asked to respect closure orders.
