Last call for Smokejumper Smoked Imperial Porter (SSIP)

by Bill Ruskin |

If you are not going to the reunion in Boise, this may be your last chance to get a bottle or two of the special commemorative brewing of SSIP.

Applejacks Wine and Spirits in Denver is holding the last 18 bottles of SSIP for us priced at $10.25 per 750ML bottle. They need to know this coming week if we want it. I am willing to pay for it then Applejacks will hold it until someone picks it up. I won't buy any unless someone tells me they want a case or I can ship UPS two bottles any where in the USA (excluding Alaska-shipping cost higher) in wine shipper for a total of about $35.00. This would include: the beer ($10.25x2=$20.50), wine shipper ($5.00) UPS ($8.00)=$33.25 (not certain if UPS rates have gone up).

I have no problem buying the beer and shipping it to any of you. If anyone wants a case (12 bottles) then we either ship six wine shipper packs of two each or you figure out some way to get to Denver to pick it up. One other option: if you are going to the reunion, then Jimmie Dollard who is driving to boise may be willing to pick up the remaining case at Applejacks and bring it to Boise. The request should be made directly with JImmie (jfasdollard@msn.com). There are just a few days open for this option since I believe Jimmie is leaving for BOI on 7 April.

Let me know if you are interested in securing a bottle or two of this unique tribute to smokejumpers by the Left Hand Brewery in Longmont, Colorado. Please forward this to a buddy that may be interested.
